  14.                              Overview
  15.      METZ Clp2File is a utility which will copy a bitmap from the
  16. clipboard to a file.  The bitmap saved by Clp2File can be used
  17. with the various METZ Software application screen savers.
  18.  
  19. PLEASE NOTE:  This application only supports Windows version 2.0
  20. bitmaps, although the bitmaps can be displayed by the METZ Software
  21. application when running under either version of Windows.  We have
  22. released a Windows 3.0 version called Clp2Disk to support our
  23. Windows 3.0 products.

  25.                            Using Clp2File
  26.  
  27.      If you wish to create your own custom bitmap for use with the
  28. Screen Blanking option available in several METZ Software products
  29. please follow these steps:
  30.  
  31.    1.  Using a graphics application such as Microsoft Paint, create
  32.        an image.
  33.    2.  Cut or Copy the image to the clipboard.
  34.    3.  Run Clp2File.  If the clipboard contains a bitmap, Clp2File
  35.        will display it on the screen.
  36.    4.  Select Save As to place the bitmap in a file.
  37.    5.  The file you saved can now be used with the METZ Software
  38.        products.  (All METZ Software products will be re-released
  39.        to correctly support this bitmap file format.)

  41.                        Non-registered users
  42.      This product is provided at no charge to METZ Software users to
  43. support the METZ Software products.  Use for any other purpose requires
  44. payment of a registration fee.  Please contact METZ Software for more
  45. information.

  68.   so a bitmap created on an EGA screen will not appear correctly
  69.   under VGA, and vice versa.
